What if Malzahar's E would spread in aoe upon target's death, so like a disease, and would eventually cover the entire wave?
This way Q would make more sense for reseting E's duration as an aoe. You make it work on cs only so it doesn't fuck with voidlings behavior in teamfights and it actually forces Malz to be around the wave to Q and not just let it clear waves while tping to another lane.
