I like my Shield Plus and it's not that much bigger or heavier than the BG. I'm not sure about the practical difference between .380 and 9mm out of a short barrel at common CC defense ranges but it means cheap practice ammo and taking advantage of the 9mm stockpile I already have for other guns.
