Same. And when I same unpopular I mean shit like Xaaron/Impactor, Tyrest/Star Saber or Kroma/Macabre.
I usually prefer the side characters over the central ones (not all, but most) and like the exploration aspect that comes with writing or reading about rare pairs. They also tend to have cooler designs IMO. Not a big fan of car-bots lol. More of the flier and heavy machinery guy. Think the most popular pairing I love is senator Shockwave/Orion.
