PDTO on the Brink of Victory in the Great Asian War
August 13, 2029 - January 15, 2030

The end of the Great Asian War is now firmly within reach, as the PDTO has scored a series of decisive victories across the Asian continent. Over the past several months, Nippon ground forces have ruthlessly dismantled Shinese fortified positions, while PDTO allies have captured key coastal cities, effectively crippling Shina’s strategic position.

The war’s turning point came in Myanmar, where tens of thousands of Shinese soldiers were encircled and forced to surrender after being trapped in the rugged Shan Hills mountain range. After months of heavy bombardment from both Nippon ground forces and aerial strikes, the 26 Shinese divisions in the region finally capitulated on January 15, 2030, marking the end of Myanmar’s involvement in the war.

The fall of Shina’s allies has been swift and decisive. Sri Lanka fell in December 2029, followed by Nepal and Bhutan in early Fall 2029 after a coordinated Nippon offensive through the treacherous Tibetan mountains. With these nations now under PDTO control, the last remnants of Shina’s coalition have been completely dismantled.

Meanwhile, the Shinese coastal cities have been hammered by PDTO amphibious invasions, with Hong Kong, Fuzhou, Nantong, and Nanjing all falling into PDTO hands. Shanghai currently is under siege.

With the fall of these key cities and the collapse of Shina’s defensive lines, the situation for the Shinese is rapidly deteriorating. It seems increasingly likely that the war will reach its conclusion before the end of 2030, with many speculating that the PDTO will achieve total victory by Christmas.

The balance of power has shifted overwhelmingly in favor of the PDTO, and the end of Shina’s war effort appears imminent. However, the final push to secure complete victory will require further strategic operations, with Beijing likely to be the next major objective.
