Roll isn't usually sassy. She's usually doll-like and sweet. Not even Caskett is sassy. You're thinking of EXE or Luna Harp or something.

It's kind of nuts how many genres MM has already touched; it goes past Mario. Just the ones I've played are like...
Jump and Shoot Sidescroller: Most of them
Sports: MM Soccer
Racing: Battle and Chase
JRPG: Command Mission
TRPG: Rockman Strategy
CCRPG: Battle Network/Star Force
Fighting: Power Fighers/Power Battle
Visual Novel/Rail Shooter: Super Adventure Rockman
Literal fucking board game: Rockman Golden Empire
3D Action-Adventure: Legends
Then there's a social PVP gacha in XDive and whatever the hell XOver was supposed to be. The fact that they had an MMO in the works at one point is less ridiculous and more like just another box to check off. But I notice all that wacky genre-experimentation took place almost exclusively in the Classic series. I think once the X/Zero plot really took off, they felt like they had to stay in that more serious pocket. Actually, maybe that's the right way to think of the Classic series: the petri dish where you can try insane things and if they don't work then whatever, it's the subseries with time travel and ancient aliens so don't take it too seriously.
