"&" would mean they wrote in collaboration. that's why Eric isn't listed on Part 2. he probably wrote the first script they pitched with then took his pay and dipped to become an EP leaving Denis and Jon to rewrite to their hearts' content.

EPs changing doesn't mean anything. Those people just give the production money so they can have a credit on their name. The key names (actual producers) stay the same and are the only ones with any input.
