Like, Yaiba's anime does shit the classic way, it has smear frames like this, it's great if you're an actual appreciator of what makes anime distinct from western animation (that being the various techniques it pioneered to make up for struggles in the production pipeline) and not just someone who likes to LARP as an appreciator of "the classics" despite likely not even having seen a Takahata or a Dezaki.
