anon, everything Soviet, from bridges to apartments was built with an assumption of a massive land war and modular so that entire factories can be moved Eastwards. If they were into cutting corners like moron capitalists then they wouldnt have had all these shells and tanks they've used to bring the combined arsenals of NATO to a juddering halt.
