>grilling one day
>neighbor kid peers over the fence, says the food smells good and asks me how hard grilling is
>tell him its easy just light the coals, watch the food, move the food, maintain the fire
>ask him if his dad ever taught him that
>says his dad is too "busy" or impatient to show him anything
What the fuck is going on? Its not just the kids but the parents, how can they just not want to bond with them? I don't understand it actually eludes me as a concept when humanity thrives off of shared expercience.
