reminder that the only reason anybody is putting the original RE4 above the rest is a combination of nostalgia and fear over challenging the groupthink because RE4 just gets grandfathered in and gets a pass on how clunky and cumbersome of a game it actually is because it was influential and important in its day.

its been surpassed, nobody would actually argue RE4 is, all else aside, a better game than DS2, not a soul on this planet.
