Can I reasonably trust that game library torrents will stay up, and so I can just download whichever games I want at leisure?

Or could they be taken down in the future somehow, and thus I should download the full libraries for every console I want right now? (Honestly it would take more time to sort through the library than to just download it all)

I don't know much about technology, I know websites hosting ROMs are being taken down...but are torrents safe from that because they are decentralized?

Reason I ask is I'm a poorfag and I don't have the storage for all the libraries I want atm. I'd have to go and buy a big fat HDD. It's not impossible to buy it, I won't exactly have to miss meals if I buy it, but still given where I'm at it's not the best use of my meagre money.
