lol I geoblocked Nigeria months ago because of all the scammers. (Interestingly, the archetypical woman they preferred to catfish as had a really big arse, but I digress.) Most scammers use VPNs, which I can't block unless I upgrade to a very costly Cloudflare plan. I haven't noticed a lot of Indian IPs, bots or otherwise. So after thinking about, I'm starting to lean towards using a mixture of signals to rank feed results. I've noticed that bots are less likely to join clubs, have a high match percentage with anyone, be verified, and a bunch of other things. All these signals can be combined into a simple ranking algo which at least keeps them hidden in the feed. I'll experiment with it this weekend
