Do you ever feel like we're just spending our days arguing about the same shit that our great-grandparents argued over, with caliber wars and pistol comparisons? The standard of a 6 inch long, 4 inch tall slim carry pistol that weighs under 25 ounces loaded has existed for over a century. We have more powerful cartridges in the same size guns now, and of course higher ammo capacities, but I still think that any skilled shooter could load up a 1910s handgun with ball ammo and achieve the exact same results in a modern defensive shooting as with a modern handgun.

I'm not trading in my LCR or Shield for a Lemon Squeezer or an FN1910, but I can’t help but feel like we’ve fallen for multiple generations-worth of marketing.
