Another problem I got with anime/manga is how much is laced in Irony that it feels like a Marvel movie, characters are so quick to call one a pervert or hide behind layers of irony, makes me wish the MC would tell the person to fuck off sometimes.

Is not funny or playful when it represents the knee-jerk reaction most of the times and moments of sincerity happen only when they want to signal some kind of milestone or important dialogue, irony shouldn't be the default state.
