Imagine performing for a huge crowd and NONE of them know who you are.

Not even close.
Most of them have had their viewership and income eviscerated. The sub bleed has mostly stopped, but many will likely never reach their old peaks before graduating. Ike for example was at 996k before the black stream dropped. He ended around 950k when he left.

Viewership for the girls is effectively stagnant at best. The boys are hard to get a read on since Nijisanji's been botting them to a completely ridiculous and obvious degree. going by post-stream views, likes, and chat speed though it's clear they're not doing that well either.

The wave that came out post-selen were basically 2views
There's a new wave of boys now that are apparently picking up but it's hard to tell how much of that is the absurd amount of ads they're buying and how much is bots.

Sponsorships for EN are extremely scant and generally from china or japanese companies.
They've effectively given up on the west and are now trying to market them to SEA, China, and Japan.

Here's the NijiEN part of that big concert they had this year. Note how Elira and Enna call out to the crowd to say their song name and get no response. They're only there for the niji label and have no idea who these girls are.

In lighter news, Doki and Mint are seriously doing well to an incredible degree. Doki's network is extremely large now and she's been part of so many tournaments and events in both EN and JP that it's hilarious. It's not even just FPS. She's hit the minecraft scene, the fighting game scene, esports, etc. She also organized her own global apex customs that even got people from Neo-Porte and VSPOjp to join, and her appearance at Sakura Aoi's apex tournament was a fan favorite pov for their absurd shenanigans. Wrestletuber 2025 is apparently going to be insane, too.
Oh and she has both a nendoroid which was a top seller for nearly a month and a goodsmile plush, too, and is in talks for a second nendo.

Mint meanwhile is just everywhere. HoloEN adores her. Vshojo adores her. Indies adore her. Phase adores her. If there's a concert or singing event, chances are Mint was invited and is going to show up. If your oshi speaks english, chances are she's already either talked to her or had her on stream. She's a complete powerhouse in the west as far as idol stuff and music goes and there's really no comparison.

Also the two of them even had their own 3D live concert, which sold extremely well. You can watch it here if you want. They made a lot of waves to the point that JP tourists were amazed at how wotagei was not only allowed, but encouraged! Mint's fans take wotagei VERY seriously.

Sure. How come nobody in the "NijiEN" audience knew what Elira and Enna's song was called?
