I wouldnt say that, Tamers is good at writing relationships. A lot of the horses behave in ways that are believable and compelling. The issue is Tamers is like a child baking a cake, he doesn't understand why to use a certain amount of sugar rather than dumping an entire bag in there. Too much of a good thing in other words.
