For the most part we don’t want artists replaced with AI, we want artists *we don’t like* replaced with AI. If you are a good artist you have nothing to worry about. But I saw a person with a xitter profile full of beanmouth drawn on scrap paper curse out the guy who drew this (not AI, just an AI character). Also, I swear on my life I’ve commissioned at least fifty pieces of art over the years here from anons and the old commission threads on /aco/. Roughly one in six asked to be paid up front and then ghosted me or took months and months of bitching at to get the drawing I asked for. What other “profession” is it this common for people to just not create the product because they burned out or whatever?
A lot of you are very bad people who pretty much deserve what is coming. If you have talent and you can make a deadline you’ll probably be alright
