tbf I feel like something like a MAK movie could be easier to make than a gundam one. A lot of niche franchises get movies because it's cheap and the brand complains less.
Higher chance of it being "in name only" and it has nothing really to do with it though.

Either way I'd want a full toku production for MAK over a hollywood one any day. Maybe even for gundam as well lol
