Translation: Starmer and his government are intellectually incapable of understanding economics and ideologically incapable of implementing pro-growth policies. The pivot to 'living standards' (ignoring the fact that growth inherently boost living standards) will focus on further taxation and redistribution, once again punishing anybody successful enough to be above the median. He will then claim to have 'raised wages' for the usual suspects - doctors, nurses, teachers, civil servants etc. Everyone will continue to be worse off as the economy further stagnates.

It's LITERALLY all so tiresome.
