The blackwashing shit annoys me to no end. They'll use every excuse in the book to excuse it and treat it like it's a noble act, but when an artist, sometimes the authors themselves, draw a brown character in harsh lighting or slightly less brown, they go on a crusade and scream and cry till the cows come home. Remember when Horikoshi drew Miruko and everyone wanted him dead because he apparently "whitewashed" a tanned Japanese woman?
