hand transplant is a thing either way, not common, but exist. There was a iceland guy that was basically h-armless. He did the 2 arm implants in the last few years. It took the guy more than 10 years just got the donors in france, he spend some 20 years without arms.
I also don't think we are that far off to grafting new hands and stuff.
There's also that magic powder that a burger academic professor synthesis, he discover the mechanism that some lizard have to regenerate limbs, we also have the proteins but they are not active, his brother grew a finger that he lost. I just saw too much gore over the years and also, when you eat meat you tend to identify fat, nerve and veins. I hate nerves on my food, is nasty. You cannot really chew it like meat.
Also veins without blood are white if I'm not mistaken. That's why my confusion.
