What is gonna be the thing that pushes him off the rails? The vote event is pretty much non canonical as it's all rigged against him and internet dependant which he cannot access. So far in the show the thing that has gotten to him more is how the cast enjoy their own suggestions more than his ideas but he still added his own twist to them so it all became moot at the end

Everyone choosing to not participate might be the final.nail to the coffin but I don't see how that could go down

Also what and how would the humans even deal with an abstracted Caine? He was never too keen on listening to them unless it served him to "improve" but still kept to his own ways ignoring all criticism. Once his mind is all jumbled and he starts trashing about they are gonna be all in a big fucking problemo unless they some how manage to tarde wrangle him
