the actual reason people are saying the player is the angel is because of the hidden angel prophecy being obscured by a black pillar, and thus reflecting you back at your screen, and susie saying how she can't understand what she is looking at (because she is looking at a 3D human)
I don't like this theory and I think the player being the angel is stupid, but it has some points
