I hope they're able to pull off something similar in KH5 or whatever the finale of this arc ends up being. At least in actually including Disney cinematic characters in the endgame. I feel like they should be more relevant this time around because the Book of Prophecies is all about their worlds and Maleficent is involved again.
I think at the very least they could do something similar to Yen Sid's appearance in the Keyblade Graveyard but include Merlin and Fairy Godmother as well. Would be really cool if they brought a bunch of characters back for cameos to help Sora though like Genie and Jack Sparrow. I think that might be doable. They're kind of screwed with Beast though unless the credits scene of him being human again is just retconned to being further in the future.
