For the rolls couldn't you just roll them in the AN? As in have a few {{roll:d6}} in a small list, and tell it to use those if rolls are needed. I guess different kinds of dice could be a problem, but if you know its going to be mostly 2d4 and 1d20 or something you can prefill that.
I had a few characters play card games, one of the things needed for that was them drawing from a pile with cards with their own name on them for a game. Problem was that sonnet liked to choose characters with story impact instead of going by random. Using the method above I gave it a few randomized names in the AN in case there was a draw this turn. Worked good after I handled the possibility of one characters name being drawn so often it fills all "slots", which shouldn't be a problem for dice rolls.
And what's the best 2.5 pro? I need a break from sonnet and dispy isn't it
