You seem to think Ichigo has separate hollow and shinigami abilities and that both of his swords are shinigami tools with the only difference one of them channels the hollow while the other doesn't.
I genuinely have no idea how could anyone possibly come up to such a stupid conclusion and I recommend reading the manga where they explicitly say Ichigo's shinigami powers are one with the monochrome hollow and show 'one sword = hollow = shinigami' and 'other sword = old man = quincy'
