There is a very simple philosophy behind this.
The love between homosexual men is actually same-sex attraction; unlike lesbianism, it is found and nature, and two men are actually capable of showing amorous and erotic love for each other.
Lesbianism is specifically a human construct. It is inherently political and formed as a response to the patriarch of the household as a means of rebellion, identity, and otherness, similar to being non-binary or other identities beyond the worldly spectrum. It is why all lesbian artists focus on the lesbianism aspect of the art or whether the artist is a lesbian, as opposed to anything of artistic comprehension beyond that. Being a lesbian means everything is tethered to lesbianism; gay men do not suffer this fate. Lesbians do not feel amorous or erotic love; their love is strictly sexual and cannot last in a vacuum (insert divorce rate and spousal abuse rate meme here).
Transbians are somewhat of an evolution of lesbianism, but they sacrifice their role in the patriarchy to, like a CIS lesbian, form a specific identity that all their art is tethered to (heterosexual and bisexual trans women do not suffer such a fate, they are, essentially, a normal woman). The male brain does allow the transbian to sporadically produce things of artistic value, but such things are rare.
Trans men operate similarly to heterosexual women, but only if they're gay; they understand men, therefore they can create art.
