like half of the talmud is made up of the mishnah, which is contemporary with your jew testament. so it helps us to understand the sort of things jesus (who never existed) was so adamant he go to the temple to learn.
ill tell you right now alot of it has to do with how to eliminate spirituality from others in like manner to the jews. that way the only spirituality which exists is in your mind, and not in the world. i guess jews find it offensive. it reminds them of their bad rng.
