Guild Wars 2 is the best MMO content/money wise.
It's very casual, but that isn't really a detriment since you won't suffer under much fear of missing out yet there is still a ton of content. And thanks to downscaling to zones and servers combining populations, even old maps are never empty.

Story is ehh, but I suggest your first character to be a Sylvari since the overall base game and first expansion kind of have their focus.
Path of Fire is a must for the mounts, End Of Dragons is absolute garbage, Secrets of the Obsbscure is them trying something new, but Janthir Wilds was surprisingly fun since they actually learned something of Soto.
