My CM may have one flower but it has three leaves. I tried the three flowers design using your reasoning, but I didn't like the result. The color of my flower doesn't contrast well against my coat. I used leaves to add some contrast and sacrificed two blooms. Even then, it's not that much of a deviation from canon norms. Lily has three flowers, Daisy has two and Roseluck has one. For Roseluck, that makes sense. Her CM wouldn't be instantly recognizable as a rose without the stem or leaves, and having three of her current CM would be too busy and make some details less recognizable if the whole design was scaled down to accommodate three whole stems.
