I want to call this urban fantasy, but urban fantasy dredges up nonsense like the Dresden Files books and the whole 'somehow the real world has just fucking ignored all the vampires and wizards and shit and i guess scientists are fucking morons and all the police are just trying to not think about all the people they find mysteriously missing all their blood' thing.

A world of fantasy and magic that has kept that magic and just happened to have gotten to the point of having smartphones and vending machines and modern sensibilities sounds comfy as fuck.
