It really depends if kris ever reacts to the SOUL being nice. It sounds like he wants to sacrifice (You) per the phonecall but I am a firm loopchad emboldened by susie's speeches in chapter 4
I have a feeling that once you know the bunker codes and beat chapter 7, (You) can loop back to chapter 1 and sequence break enough to prove to Kris you're actually waaaay more powerful than his autistic ass realizes, and working towards whatever his goal is (Find Her?). But to do that, you probably DO have to complete a weirdroute and loop back with more esoteric knowlege or macguffins.
