It's comfy on the merit that it's SIGNIFICANTLY more affordable than either Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! for a competitively viable deck and most decks with recentish support are competitively viable if you pilot them well.

It's significantly more balanced, but decks like Sakuya can play options for free and by extension digivolve for free, Megidra/DukeX can gain a ton of memory cause of dated cards as well as punish you for punishing them by gaining memory on deletion, and Blue Galaxy just ramps up memory for free making their turn an entire hour.
It sounds scary, but once you learn the match-up you can remember which of your cards shine the most v. Them.
