Oh wait it does work, just need to keep the fonts folder and config file but delete the Translator folder if you don't want it in Chinese, I was only copying the MAGICAMI DX_Data folder.
They're all there but you don't seen them when filtering by character, you have to actually scroll down there.
And running it using japanese locale seemed to fix the missing audio lines.
