well we sort of did have a caste system before ww2 and to some degree before hart-celler. but we don't anymore because the anglo establishment rightfully sees noneuropeans as bigger threats to the survival of the USA compared to meds or slavs. but meds and slavs should remember that if all the nonwhites left the USA tomorrow then we would be the new negroes. we are tolerated as of now but we are not guaranteed anything.
