They're spinning their wheels planning, with no work actually being done. No one knwos how to program, just manipulate Unreal. Talented diven people aren't being hired, it's morons like this.
What would have totally made sense is a "what if PD64 2 came out?". Re-use assets from Perfect Dark 1, go on a full nostalgia trip, and create a new sequel scenario from it. But of course, use mouse and keyboard aiming so it visually is nostalgic but plays like a modern game. Then build a multiplayer experience on top of it.
Then if that is a hit, build upon it and make sequels.
