Why do people say 'become immortal' as if the Courier doesn't stick their brain into the same longevity fluid the Think Tank uses and lets you just remote control their own body in Old World Blues?
If you want to live forever, then let you brain stay in the tank and control your body remotely. Why risk death at all? If you die, you're still in the think tank. Give your brain a few years or so and it'll probably figure out how to grow bodies to play with.
