I notice that whenever somebody makes a case for not buying PMs, they never have an alternative. What else would you buy once you have weapons and a food stash? Real estate? Stocks? Bonds? Internet money? Not me. If you want to avoid the collapse of the debt bubble and everything it supports, there is no choice but hard assets. And PMs are the historical king of hard assets. So speculate all you want about what the purchasing power of silver or gold will be after some big event, whatever it might be. But the truth is that there is no prudent alternative right now.
