Check your own gif. Pokemon attacks look flashy, but in terms of actual destruction they are hilariously weak. Blowing back a few people and destroying part of an outdoor restaurant is actually nothing. This is actually very consistent with nearly the entire Pokemon anime where they love to do huge flashy attacks that only just kick up a bit of dust or make shallow craters in dirt.
I already showed a Dynamax Pokemon (and this is not unique) taking several seconds to charge an attack to destroy a 2 story house. They would be dangerous, to be sure, but nothing like Godzilla.

It's crazy we constantly have anons in here saying Goku's feats are outliers or Saitama's feats are outliers or Superman's feats are outliers but if you're from an overall less scrutinized franchise you can make it out okay.

First of all Lance is not a "gym leader" he is a champion level trainer, second of all that only destroyed a few city blocks (nothing compared to high level Godzilla feats) and third of all it's a very obvious outlier given no usage of Hyper Beam by this character or characters stronger than this Dragonair (including it's evolution Dragonite) ever reaches this level again. Pic rel is when it was raging out of control and was trying to cause as much damage as possible as Lance wasn't there if I remember right
