because aoe2, or if you wanna generalize, strategy games, arent just a combination of skills like eye-hand coordination and reflexes like FPS. Theres a big part of strategy knowledge and quick decision making, that once you start on a bad streak, it gets worse, and you lose sense of the most basic principles.
When you lose because you couldnt click faster is bearable. When you lose because your decisions are terrible is just soul crushing.
Right now im totally blocked, and any player around my ELO can beat me, and i dont want to lose another 10 games to start winning again. I would feel pathetic.
