Republic Commando series until like book 3?
The Bounty Hunter War book, and keep reading from this series if you like it.
The Tale From... (Empire/Catina/Jabba's Palace/Bount Hunters) books have some good short stories, but there's also complete shlock in those. Well worth a read.
This is from the top of my head, btw. There's quite a bit to filter out that I've read and i dno't really remember the titles for individual books. There's stuff like I, Jedi and Darth Plagueis that are pretty good
As for comics, Crimson Empire and all those sequels. All the original Dark Horse Boba Fett ones too. There's also comic Tales collections, but like the short stories, quality varies a lot. Still worth reading.
Can't really recommend anything once Marvel took over.
People seem to like the Han Solo trilogy, but i tried to and never finished the first book. Maybe i dropped it because I wanted to re-read ASOIAF because A Feast for Crows was going to come out.
