Screw Alpha Centauri or whatever system, when you can have factions and areas like Space America, Space Britain, Space Japan, and even Space Germany.
Going to the California system to land on Planet Los Angeles, before, say, going to visit Sapporo Station in the Hokkaido System just sounds a whole lot cooler already.
Hell, it doesn't even matter if each planet just has a hub city just like Starfield or even like Mass Effect, at the very least each planet would have a unique, immediately recognizable style.
