Yesterday at work I was eating a homemade lunch my wife packed me. One dude says it looks great, asks where I got it. I tell him my wife makes all my meals since she’s a stay-at-home wife.

Then two other guys chime in saying I’m lucky, they only get homemade food maybe twice a week. Both of their wives also stay at home. I ask why. One says they’ve got a 4 and 6-year-old and she doesn’t have time.

I told them I’ve got two kids too, and if my wife just sat around all day and couldn’t even cook something for her own family, I’d be out in a month.

They got pissy, called me abusive.

But really, why would you accept someone who’s too lazy to cook a decent meal for your kids? What’s the point of staying home if you’re not actually doing anything? 2 times a week, really?
