There are some part or components you are fine buying from rando people or sites.
There are others where you need buy that shit in person if you don't want to waste your money and/or get scammed.
I will never buy a PC case online ever again after receiving not one, but two damaged cases from Newegg. You also don't quite grasp how large or small a case is until you see it in person.
Assuming the price is right, I have no problems buying CPU, RAM, or even a GPU online, assuming there are at least SOME buyer's protection.
