My country banned the operation of asylums and sanatoriums some time ago and the consequences have been devastating. Parents of severely disabled children, especially those with profound autism, are now unable to live their lives with even a semblance of normalcy.
There have been cases of parents being arrested for chaining their children to beds or confining them in makeshift cells, out of desperation to prevent them from harming themselves or others in the household. The media treat them like theyre monsters when it was the media itself that pressured the closing of the asylums
One father, speaking publicly, confessed that he wished his son would die shortly after he himself dies because, in his words, the boy was completely incapable of living independently.
Literally, how the fuck is a retarded supposed to live once his parents go away? Also, why should parents be prisioners of something they can not choose in any way?? No one wants to have a tard as their son/daughter. Asylums should be reopen WORLDWIDE, so parents could have a second chance when it comes to raising a family. Literally, no one deserves to be cursed/nerfed like that
