So now that they finally decided to commit to Merch- I mean Pirate for manipulating gold, we're going back to the arena for pro-wrestling memes. I don't even hate it.

LSS continue to make it clear that they are willing to turn any idea they have into a card type based on what vibes right now (as opposed to some long term plan for mechanical identity), and I'm at the point where I can accept that. Revered/Reviled I can take or leave, and Cheer/Boo is another do-nothing tag like Stealth but that too seems fine - they're getting some design out of it at least.

Tuffnut seems based on Rok, so I'll probably try him out. Pleiades seems to be implying she plays around with keeping certain auras in the arena for varying turn counts, and is also a mega QT. Goldmane I'm sure excites some people, and Kayo is... Kayo I guess. Sign me up for team goody-goody.
Personally I'm at a higher baseline interest than Highseas, but my overall excitement for FaB's design future has been trending down all 2025.
