well the whole idea was that the government decided to create sircaa because they finally started to understand something about the zone thanks to strelok's insight. they tried to take over the cnpp multiple times but failed, they haven't found any significant documents or anything that would help them understand what the fuck zone is, why is it here, how does it work. and this lasted for 6 years. if it weren't for strelok, then the government would only learn from degtyarev that there were some strange experiments with some strange psi-energy, that there are gauss rifles, and that's all.
and then, suddenly, this random fucker shows up, and he knows who was behind the creation of the zone (he killed them btw), knows how the psi-installations work (he turned off the most important ones btw), knows where most of the secret labs are located (he explored every single one of them btw), and probably more, we don't exactly know what he was up to before contacting the military in pripyat.

so if it weren't for him, sircaa wouldn't exist, because the government wouldn't know how to start properly researching the zone, scientists like sakharov only fucked around with artifacts, anomalies and mutants, but they had no idea where it all came from.

Been considering upgrading, though not really sure if I should swap the GPU, CPU (Ryzen 5 5600), or just make a new build entirely. Haven't been keeping up with hardware releases and I keep forgetting the naming conventions
Not really in a rush though, I mostly play older titles anyway
