You may have found something that works for you but all the Sports Festival alts grant themselves Guts When Appearing and Carbuncle while not able to grant himself Guts is still a tank so if you summoned any of them and with Sports Festival Chernobog Support you should have some moderate success.
While not perfect there are some other options to try to make things easier. If you have the AR Card Viral Influence, Forever & Ever at max level cap which if you played during the 7th Anniversary you should have it. It has a 70% chance to inflict Charm to enemies in Slash range at Phase Start. If you equip it to the Character in the 2nd slot of your team and depending on where the game places them you should be able to inflict Charm on Gargoyle, Girimekra, and Aegir too if the character is put in the middle and the effect activates.
If you have Christmas Aegir each Turn he can inflict Charm on enemies within a 2 space diamond radius around himself at a 30% chance and when he hits an enemy also at a 30% chance. Permanent Otohime can inflict Charm on enemies that hit her at a 50% chance.

Now time to ramble about Valentine Extravaganza.
Another event down and again surprisingly long. We see Ziz and Behemoth get summoned and then he is a new student while she is a teacher in training/Aide. We talk about Valentine's and I know this is a different Loop but the fact Moritaka says he's never heard of such a custom bothered me. We go the Extravaganza and Kenta is with us because Barguest asked us too. Shiro and Ryota get new outfits and apparently we picked Shiro's out for him. He then goes over the event and there's a milking experience...okay then. We learn the horrible cycle of how Inugami are created.
