My condolences. But there usually is a fair bit of used LCDs on the used market since some people can't stand the weight. Though I live in yurop as well and I've seen some people ask almost full price for ten year old cans so I understand. Audeze also does a sale on their refurbished items but that's usually near the end of the year.

Midrange should always comply with the target as closely as possible. Upper midrange especially. Otherwise it'll sound off. As long as the treble or the bass don't have a 10+ dB deficiency then it's fine since those depend on each person's taste and HRTF. But ideally bass should be flat at the very least and there should be no big peaks over 10k.

Why would I spend 200 bucks on snake oil when I can add that to the headphone budget and just get something that sounds good without distorting out the ass? See >>106225415. Just use EQ, you can't be too retarded for simple software, surely.
