Who will win the Lughbowl?

If you were tasked when designing a shota protagonist, what kind of character would they be?
My ideal would be a duo with clashing personalities. Like a kind optimistic boy that ends up traveling with a pessimistic and cynical loner boy. Kind of like Gon and Killua, but it would take time for them to open up and become true friends.
